“Come on Frank, I need to get ready too, you know!”
It was times like these that Frank wished he didn’t have to share the bathroom with his brother. The bathroom connected his and Joe’s rooms. Opening the door that led to Joe’s room, he glared at his younger brother.
“We’ve still got plenty of time – what’s your hurry?”
A slow smile crossed Joe’s face. “Hey, it takes time to look this good!”
Frank rolled his eyes and turned to go to his room. He could hear Joe laughing as he shut the door.
Thirty minutes later, Frank and Joe came down the stairs. They found their parents sitting in the living room watching television. Laura turned and smiled at her two sons.
“You boys look very handsome!” Laura said.
Frank was wearing a black turtleneck sweater that accentuated his lean muscular build. He had on dark blue jeans and black loafers on his feet. Joe wore a blue and brown pullover sweater. The blue color in the sweater brought out the color of Joe’s eyes.
“Thanks Mom – especially since Frank does try his best! But he does have a lot to live up to - it’s not easy having me as a brother!”
Special Note: I got the idea for this story from a discussion on the board about how Callie is written and her treatment of Joe in fan fiction. I hope you like it!
