Plot Blurb: The gift of a Caribbean cruise seemed like the best vacation ever but then everything goes wrong. 

Splash Page: It was completely dark by the time they ate the flame-roasted fish and divided up another coconut. Joe leaned back on his elbows and stared up at the black sky. Stars were scattered like diamonds on black velvet. “With a few amenities, I could stay here forever.” 

“Bite your tongue. That comment you made earlier is what got us stuck here.” 

“No, that crewmember who’s after Nikos is who stuck us here.” Joe shifted and stretched out on the sand, his hands tucked beneath his head. “You think he overheard us telling the girls?” 

“Possibly. Or the girls mentioned something outside their cabin.” Frank yawned, feeling drowsy now that he was no longer hungry or thirsty. 

Joe felt his eyes drift shut. “Hey, Frank, you think it’s safe to sleep out on the beach like this?” 

“There’s no moon tonight. Not like you could be any loonier than you are.” 

“Ha, ha. What if this island isn’t completely empty?” 

“Hey, give my regards to Gilligan if you run into him. Or you could find some vines and whip us up a couple of hammocks...” 

Joe groaned. “Oh, shut up and go to sleep.”
